Golden Gate Bridge Twilight Bike Tour (Guided)
Our Guided Twilight Tour of the Golden Gate Bridge begins at 4pm daily, spring through fall, and it’s the perfect way to enjoy the remains of the day and see the iconic bridge illuminated by the fading sunshine! On this tour you’ll ride with our guides along San Francisco’s stunning waterfront, get an up close and personal look at our most famous landmark, and explore some hidden gems in the Presidio before returning to the tour starting location.
The tour begins at the beautiful Aquatic Park in Fisherman’s Wharf. The mostly flat National Park Bike Path will take you through Fort Mason, the Marina, and Presidio National Park on your way to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Along the way, our local guide will share entertaining and education information with you, including the history behind the bridge! Our tour guides are also excellent photographers and will capture great shots of you with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.
You’ll cycle partway across the Golden Gate Bridge on the sidewalk, then turn around and return to San Francisco to explore more. As you return through the Presidio you’ll pass by the Walt Disney Museum and the Lucasfilms headquarters, where you’ll see a quirky fountain that features Yoda from Star Wars. The tour route continues to the Palace of Fine Arts, then returns back to the Hyde Street shop that you first started from. In case you want to explore more on your own after the tour concludes, you are welcome to keep the bike longer! Your Twilight Tour also includes an all-day bike rental.
This Guided Twilight Tour departs from 2715 Hyde Street at 4pm March-October. Please arrive 15 minutes early for bike fitting and orientation.
