Dr. Seuss in Fisherman’s Wharf!

Posted on 03/19/2013

“Hats off to Dr. Seuss” will be on exhibit at the Dennis Rae Gallery until March 31st at 781 Beach Street (Beach Street between Hyde and Larkin, right by the Powell/Hyde Cable Turnaround in Aquatic Park). Stop in with the whole family to check it out, and then turn right when you’re exiting the gallery. On the same block you’ll pass our Tour and Activity Center at 721 Beach Street, where you can wave hello and find out more information on our Alcatraz Guided Tour Combination Packages! Turn right at the Buena Vista on the corner, then head up a half-block to our main location at 2715 Hyde Street. At our Hyde Street shop, we have an indoor test ride and our best selection of bikes—including our full line of kids’ equipment—so you can get the perfect bikes for the whole family!

Blazing Saddles is open 365 days a year at 8am, but the Dr. Seuss exhibit will only be in Fisherman’s Wharf until the end of March. Come visit soon for this great day of family fun! Did we mention we’re only a block away from Ghirardelli Square, so you can end your ride with a sweet treat!

Through the duration of the Dr. Seuss exhibit, the Dennis Rae Fine Arts Gallery will be open 11am to 7pm weekday; and 10am until 10pm on weekends. Blazing Saddles opens at 8am every single day, so you Bike the Bridge either before or after you check out “Hats off to Dr. Seuss”!

You can read more about the exhibit on the Dennis Rae Fine Art Gallery website, as well as in this New York Times article.

Here’s a great idea for a day of family fun in San Francisco: check out the Dr. Seuss exhibit at the Dennis Rae Fine Art Gallery, then stop by Blazing Saddles and Bike the Bridge!
