Coming Soon - Super Bowl City!

Super Bowl San Francisco

Not only did we host the biggest sporting event in the history of sporting events (2013’s America’s Cup, jealous much?), but we’re now creating an entire new village within our own 7-by-7 mile city limits – Super Bowl City, opening January 30. There are going to be free concerts – Alicia Keyes, Chris Isaak, and One Republic, just to name a few. Additionally there is an inter-active NFL Experience taking over Moscone Center.

While this promises to bring excitement, entertainment and lots of fun activities, it also is sure to bring traffic jams as commuters and visitors encounter detours and closed roads. For those visiting who want to explore beyond just the events surrounding the Super Bowl, seeing the sights and getting around the city may be a challenge. That’s where we come in! Wave to the motorists stuck in traffic as you zip by on one of our Blazer bikes. Whether your bike ride takes you over the Golden Gate Bridge, through Golden Gate Park, or along the waterfront on the Embarcadero (just walk your bike near the Ferry Building crowds, please!), you will be able to steer clear of the traffic and take in all of San Francisco’s natural beauty along the way.

If your travels will take you to Super Bowl City, fret not as there will be valet bike parking! This is located near the Ferry Building, on Embarcadero between Market and Mission. You’ll find more information on bicycle access near Super Bowl City at the SFMTA’s website, which also has details on street closures and detours for those walking and biking nearby. When you stop into any of our locations to get your bike, be sure to give us a celebratory high five, too. While there won’t be any Bay Area teams in the Super Bowl, we’re thrilled the Seattle Seahawks didn’t make it this year, either!

Wow, San Francisco, we have to hand it to you. You sure know how to throw a party!
